ABOUT OUR PROCESS

How are they made?

All Studio Elke ceramic pieces are single edition and wheel-thrown, individually glazed, then gas-fired in a reduction atmosphere at high temperatures, by designer-maker Elke Kramer at her home studio in rural NSW.

Each piece is one-off and presents Elke with an opportunity to explore, experiment and expand her ceramic practice.
