Sustainable Braidwood emerged from a strong need in the Braidwood region to come together as a united community in the face of the environmental, social and economic impacts of climate change and ecological instability.
Elke Kramer, along with other passionate local women, Rose Ricketson, Clare Young and Jessica Friedmann, founded the Not For Profit organisation as an opportunity to unite their spectrum of talent and skill and collectively address issues of climate, resilience and recovery.
Studio Elke created the bespoke visual identity to capture and communicate the spirit and values of the collective.
Sustainable Braidwood's values are creativity, community and care.
Sustainable Braidwood see's sustainability as a quality that is threaded through every act of community resilience, from the individual acts of kindness and compassion that were seen in the bushfires, to the group efforts of their brilliant volunteers. And that these are the things that make living together — and thriving together — possible.
